The city of Sharjah is one of the oldest and most developed cities of United Arabic Emirates, its history goes back to 5000 and live went so far till now days, the simple representation of the events leads to neglecting the fact of the conflict and the attacks that city faced during the history. The aim of the project is to embrace the fact of the old history of the city and its development through the time, so the main idea of the project was inspired by the old Sharjah city buildings transforming into modern ones, the transformation is done using parametric method to represent the development of the city. The idea of transformation can be seen at the façade of the building from the main street and residential zone, the project can be seen divided to two halves with the most standing element of Sharjah history which is Khalid lake , which also acts as the main and secondary entrance of the project, the well-known view for Sharjah residents attracts the residents to enter and explore the building. The sustainability features of the project include the natural ventilation as a main focus for the project, as well as the natural cooling , the natural ventilation is embraced by having three wind towers (Barjeel) as landmarks towers in the modern section of the building, and the cooling is controlled through ground cooling techniques as well as having the main spaces of the museum underground.
